Shira Selkovits

Enterprise Sales Leader, LinkedIn

Shira Selkovits is a Sales Leader, feminist, and humorist currently helping the world’s biggest companies connect talent with opportunity at LinkedIn in New York City. Throughout her 20 year sales career, Shira has been devoted to changing the way clients think about their company's story and strategy. Shira spent over a decade in the transportation industry at FedEx, working with Fortune 100 companies on complex global logistics strategies. It is here that she developed a passion around female empowerment and the importance of having female and male allies in such a male dominated environment. 6 years ago, she made the transition into working with talent acquisition leaders at some of the world’s best companies through her role at LinkedIn, and she now works with clients who are desperate to better represent women in their company narrative and hiring initiatives. As an active member of LinkedIn’s WALI (Women at LinkedIn) Group, she has been serving on mentor rings for the past 5 years to help give back what she’s learned. When Shira isn’t helping her team win or trying to find the ideal work/life harmony, she can be found reading, at the movies, recording her weekly podcast, or filming comedy sketches with her all-female sketch comedy group.
