Lois M. Cooper was an Associate Certified Coach, Diversity & Inclusion Consultant, Human Resources Trainer, Professional Speaker and Author. Her career spanning 30+ years of experience, worked in human resources across a variety of industries including advertising, entertainment and temporary staffing. Her work expertise developed in a number of areas such as employee relations, change management, conflict resolution, organizational design, supplier and workforce diversity and corporate social responsibility. As a career coach, she provided corporate training solutions and worked with individual clients who were going through a transition in their career. As the Founder and Director of Lois M. Cooper, Inc., she provided diversity consulting, talent development programs and career coaching.
Lois published two books, "New Dawn, New Direction" 2016 that focuses on strategies that can be used to deal with significant life changes. And most recently in 2020, her latest book, "Game Changers: Women who Make a Difference featuring a handful of women who had influenced her personally, professionally and spiritually.
She was actively engaged in the community and connected with a number of organizations including serving as the Board Chair of the Urban League of Long Island, Co-Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Council for the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), Leader of the Culture Club for Moxxie Networks, and a member of the Steering Committee for the Women's Collaborative of Long Island.
Lois recieved her MBA from Baruch College in New York City and her BA from American University in Washington, DC.
