This is a hybrid program with mostly virtual workshops. Active participation is required at all workshops.  Program fee of $750 must be paid prior to start of program. Volume discounts for more than one partricipant per company. All new participants begin with the Year 1 curriculum.

Executive Bios / Personal Branding
An introduction of the program will includes writing a professional bio and sharing what we hope to get out of the program.  Learn to brand yourself in a positive, professional way.

The Art of Networking
Networking has become a critical element for growing a career and/or business.  In this session, we work with the Mentees to design their own custom commercial and teach effective networking practices.

DISC: Understanding and Working with Different Personalities
Understand how you and others are "wired".  We'll examine personality types and provide insight into why some interactions are successful and others struggle, and what you can do about it.

Difficult Conversations
Everyone deals with difficult conversations and difficult personalities.  We will discuss various scenarios and how to manage those conversations for better outcomes. 

Nego-SHE-ating Skills
Women typically struggle to be proficient in this skill.  During this workshop we role-play in order to see how we react to certain negotiating tactics, and how to develop a few of our own.  

Leadership and Attentive Listening
Learn traits you can cultivate within yourself so others view you as a leader.  Leadership excels when others feel empowered to follow a direction, which includes listening to feedback, ideas and concerns.  Learn how to be an active, attentive and reflective listener using all senses so others will follow you to help you become a stronger leader.

YEAR 2.5  CURRICULUMDISC 2.0: Digging deep into the personality profiles of yourself & others
Mentees know where they fall on the DISC spectrum; now, it’s time to hone their understanding of trait strengths and weaknesses, and how they contrast with management and peers to ensure greater communication success.

Difficult Conversations (Role-Play)
Following discoveries from DISC 2.0, mentees will come prepared to role-play a real-life difficult conversation. The goal: discover the most effective approach to uncomfortable, but necessary, discourse.

Communicating with Diplomacy & TactHosted by Dale Carnegie: Develop flexibility in your communication style and asses the intent of your messages against the outcomes. Discover how to modify your approach to avoid conflict while still being heard.  

The Art of being Disliked
Everyone wants to be liked – but putting too much stock in it can compromise effectiveness. Discover the balance between being liked and respected, and recognize the fallacy of being “liked by all.”  

Articulate Your Value
What do you bring to the table? What sets you apart? Why should a company invest in you? Learn to confidently share your areas of excellence, own your power, and make an impact.
